Selinda Camp is only accessible to guests by seat-in plane air transfers or private charters. On arrival at the airfield, the road transfer to camp is approximately 45 minutes allowing time for game viewing en route. During flood season, when water levels rise, we often use a boat for transfers. This transfer is a combination of a 15-minute drive to the boat dock and then a 15-minute boat ride to camp. We prefer to use the boat for transfers whenever logistically feasible.
Selinda Camp's (Category B) airfield is licensed for aircraft as large as a King Air, Pilatus PC-12 and Cessna Caravan. The coordinates are S18"33.95'; E23"30.73'.
Flying times from Maun to Selinda Airfield is a 45-minute flight and Kasane to Zarafa is a 50 minutes. These times vary somewhat depending on the type of aircraft being used; those listed are for a Cessna Caravan.
