The Masai Mara Game Reserve and surrounds have been fraught with negative association due to the high density of tourism and associated vehicle numbers. Mara Plains answers to that challenge by providing guests with an opportunity to visit one of the Earth’s greatest wildlife destinations, but still do so in relative privacy. With over 100,000 acres of conservancy land at our disposal, guests have a ratio of one tent to every 700 acres – the lowest density in the region. This provides access the widest variety of habitat, much of it prime predator country.
