Wherever he goes, he cause a stampede..buffalos flee and young male lions take to their heels. He raises a lot of dust around him when he roars, you will not be blamed for thinking that there is a whirlwind around him…the dominant lion of Duba Plains he is.
With all the advantage of being dominant and with the young males still years away from posing a serious challenge, he is always following females on hunt and normally comes in as soon as the prey is brought down. He is the one who feeds first, getting the most share and/or the most tender parts from the kill. The rest would then deal with the remains, i.e if he allows them to. Always jealously guarding against any infiltrator into the three groups of the Tsaro lion pride.
