This sub adult male lion is having a hard time as the dominant male is chasing him away from the rest of Tsaro lion pride. He is just above two years and the dominant male thinks it is time for him to move away from his mother, aunts and sisters. This has seen him missing big meals as he spends most of the time running and keeping a reasonable distance from the rest of the lion pride. For him to survive, he has to hunt for himself and in this picture he is seen struggling to take the male baboon to a shade which he had killed near the Duba Plains airstrip.
