Zarafa Diaries – An adventure day.
18th May 2012 Posted in: Botswana Camps, BushBuzz, Recently Spotted, Zarafa Camp 0

Wake up at 5.30, grab a quick bite at 6, the magic hour of photography is waiting so Stephan and Michella are ready to go.

All day packed lunch (with wicker basket and shiny brass pots), and Reuban the guide off they go.

Adventuring is about discovering, and stopping where and area looks good to explore.  Just you and the guide off to the furthest reaches of the concession.  For Stephan and Michella it will be a day they will never for get.

Highlights – Lions feeding on Buffalo, Wild Dog Hunting Impala, countless elephant, Lechwe, Roan, Giraffe..imagine it, they saw it yesterday.

The finale was the return to a candlelit dinner in the bush, long lead wood poles supporting lamps with a warm ambiance the whole of the Zarafa staff came from out of the dark to sing. Time to reflect over  a bottle of champagne and view the photos.
