0530 – Sharon (guest) woken by camp surrounded in Lion roar
5.58 – Sharon collected by David from Tent 4 and recounts story of Lion attacking Hippo on night drive
6.01 – Lion spotted outside main area – female, adult, big
6.02 – Sharon, David, Kane high five and whoop at incredible sighting
6.05 – Sharon skips breakfast and is in vehicle off to see Lion – Sharon not seen again until 11.00
8.00- Andreas and Nuria (Spanish guests) wake to find Lion foot prints out side Tent 2
8. 04 – In true Spanish style enjoy a “Zarrafacino” in calm confidence in seeing the Lions in good time
8.32 – Andreas and Nuria depart camp and see the Lions
Circa 10.00 – Reports from the field of separate Lion pride found on Kudu kill. Hundreds of elephant recorded also.
12.00 – Sumptuous brunch on the main deck with a fine Paul Cluver Chardonnay followed by a guests enjoying massage from Lollipop our masseuse.

16.00 Depart Zarafa for old style tea and cakes in a 1920′s setting in the bush. Delayed start due to elephant traffic jam
16.20 Sharon sampled the best Chocolate Brownies in the southern hemisphere – fact.
16.45 HES Zibidianja arrives ready for the evening cruise (our secret house boat) – Sunset cruise commences
19.00 Sunset cruise ends, small drive back to camp.
19.04 Big surprise bush dinner in middle of nowhere (Shumba Pan)
19.07 Andreas samples his first Pinotage – A life moment

20.45 – All Zarafa staff emerge from the dark for a song and dance spectacular
21.30 Close – Dreams of Lions as they continue to roar around us.
