An early dinner for our guests, Tony and Brenda, was planned, so they could head for a true night drive with Foster after desert.
Springhares, Hippos and Hyena were seen, all expected on the drive, but when they turn a corner in the middle of a distant pan they find David and Alice with a couple of lanterns, a random table with what appeared to be a quick “pinotage” break in the bush. And next:
A discreet whistle was blown from behind the darkened termite mound and the whole Zarafa staff appeared from the shadows to produce the most incredible musical performance for the lucky guests. Tony and Brenda were quite simply speechless. The staff then disappeared back into the depths of the bush leaving the guests with their wine, pinching themselves as to whether they had just witnessed what they had seen. A surreal and magical moment, we are incredibly lucky to have the staff that we do here.
